Amber - Keep going

Guys I'm tired right now.  I've had small progress on my weeks here and I'm losing enthusiasm.  I've been able to get good scripture study and I've been able to write here consistently.  Everything else has been so-so.  I don't have the energy to figure out if I should change anything so I'm keeping the same this week. Goals for the week: 1. Good prayers morning, midday, and evening. 2. Morning and evening routines when I can, meaning if my sickness allows. 3. Phone out of the room. 4. Changed my mind I want to focus on less so I'm taking this one off, also because I've completely ignored. 5. Oh also my crafting/sewing/or project stuff. Monday: * I was still depressed so I didn't get anything. I woke up at around 7 but didn't quite get up right away. I had a morning prayer, no midday prayer, also had an evening prayer. Phone wherever today. Stayed up playing on the computer. Tuesday: * I read Alma 39 and I've always liked it.  I've be...

Amber - I can pray

Like I said I'm going to put better focus on the prayer this week.  I'm sick right now as we speak and this makes it super difficult to do my morning and evening routines.  However I can definitely pray so I'm going to do that this week!  Also I did some body code work and discovered that I have excess chemical toxicity from sugar.  Big surprise!  I just recently downed two bags of candy within two days.  Every time I start to feel good then I go and eat excessive sugar and then I get sick.  This time the sick was worse so I've decided I need to get off the sugar.  I'm going to restrict my sugar intake by saying no to all desserts, sugary toppings, and juices for this week and then we will see.  The only exception is the gatorade I'm sipping right now because I'm a little too dehydrated.  Also I'm going to put the family history goal aside this week because I'm getting a little overwhelmed with the amount of goals that I'm failing at....

Amber - Moving on

So I tried the redo week and it was not successful, I'm going to change this week a little.  First and foremost the one thing I did great and have done great for the whole time is my scripture study.  This means I'm moving it off of the 21 days though obviously I'll still be posting my thought.  Also I have been quite failing at not eating after 6 so I think I'm taking that off for now.  Part of the problem has been not eating enough before 6 and the other is that I always want to eat desserts.  I'm going to do a scheduled meal plan thing later but I have some goals I'd like to do first.  So with two goals off of the focused list that leaves me room to add more.  So here are all of the goals for this week. Focus list: 1. Morning and Evening Routines.  I must get these down so they are number one on the list. 2. Phone out of the room.  This one has been a little difficult and I would like to make it less annoying for me.  So I'm going to ...

Amber - Let's Try it Again

I want to a do over of last week because I don't feel I got it good enough.  Also from one study I read it takes a minimum of 21 days to form a habit but it could take up to 8 months for that habit to stick.  The 21 days is more like it takes you 21 days to get used to doing something new.  The average in that study was 66 days.  I've never measured my own habit timeline so I don't know where I fall in there.  So what I've decided is that I need to successfully do the habit for 21 days, this doesn't mean I'm expecting perfection but that if I mess up a couple or even a few if I still feel I've been successful at the end then it will pass the 21 days.  After that I'll stop hyper focusing on it but I will still keep track of it.  Every time I can move a goal past the 21 days then I can add new goals.  At the end of 70 days (rounded up from 66 so it will be an even 10 weeks) I'll evaluate and if I feel it is a habit then I'm going to consider it don...
