Amber - Moving forward

So this week I'm repeating my goals but I'm not feeling sick anymore and what I didn't say last week is that I did do better during the day on my daily tasks.  So while my goals didn't succeed at all I'm hoping that the improvement will bleed into my goals.  Also I'm going to split up and add a little bit more of the morning routine which sounds like a very foolish thing, however I feel like it will help.  Here are the goals below.  I am going to work on 1-6. 1. 8:30 I say my repentance prayer. 2. I make a plan and prepare for the next day. 3. 10:00 I get off of all electronics. 4. 10:30 I go to bed. 5. I get up at 6 am. 6. I exercise first thing. 7. I do the rest of my morning routine. 8. I add the rest of evening routine. Monday: * I decided to share something I found last week.  In Elder Bednar's talk "Let This House Be Built unto My Name", he talks of the temple.  Obviously we can't attend as we were used to but I think it is important to ...

Amber - If I say I don't like this week will it be a great week?

I've titled my post with a question/theory but I don't know that it will have much affect because I'm still focusing on liking the week.  So here we go, a clean slate, a new week.  Technically it is Tuesday because Monday wasn't wonderful and I lamely didn't find anything to share so I didn't bother making a new post, also because I was quite busy.  Monday I took care of Grandma, we shopped, cooked a chicken pot pie, did laundry, had visitors, and did some general cleaning.  All I made time for beyond that was my necessities and a little bit of paper doll dresses.  So I'm pretending it is Monday and if I hadn't told you that you would probably not have known.  Though if you were checking you would have seen the publishing date didn't match up. Onto the goals, I am repeating my plan this week and expecting more success this time.  This means I'm doing 1-5. 1. 8:30 I say my repentance prayer. 2. I make a plan and prepare for the next day. 3. 10:00 ...

Amber - I like this week

I am quite excited about this week.  I'm going to just do the exact same thing as last week but most of it should be free of travel so I plan on success.  I also don't feel so depressed as the week before last.  Also I'm embarking on a new part of my energy healing and I'm quite excited for that part.  Unfortunately I'm starting the week sick, I seem to have caught a cold somewhere and now it is a sore throat.  I'll work on it and take care of myself so it will go away.  Here is the goal list again. 1. 8:30 I say my repentance prayer. 2. I make a plan and prepare for the next day. 3. 10:00 I get off of all electronics. 4. 10:30 I go to bed. 5. I get up at 6 am and do my morning routine. 6. I add the rest of evening routine. I am doing 1-5 right now and I'm going to add some alarm reaction practice because I practiced not reacting last week so it's only logical to reverse that. Monday: * I've been reading from the book of mormon but I realized recent...

Amber - Hesitantly Adding More

This week is going to be a good week.  I've decided I shall add the next thing despite less than stellar results of last week.  Normally I would not but I'm hoping the next thing on the list will help me with the previous thing.  I have been doing a lot of energy healing which maybe I should be putting on here because it is a goal.  It's a lot easier to do even though there are multiple things to do because I'm paying for it and I've got to use it if I'm going to put money on it.  Also I've felt a huge difference by using it.  I've felt a lot more free and light.  I've also had more self-control and had a greater desire to accomplish my goals.  I took a three week course for illness and I was less sick during that time and was starting to eat healthier.  Now I'm working on some older issues and I'm eating bad again and thus I'm sick again.  I'm planning on getting back to my physical health after I work on the older issues and some sp...

Aimee-New Found Motivation

I have had a hard time feeling motivated to do anything outside of what has to be done. I have consistently been 20-30 minutes late for work for the last month and I need to figure out how to get up earlier and have a real morning routine. Last night, Jessica asked me to be her personal trainer so she can lose weight. We sat down and talked about things she will need to change to live a healthier lifestyle. Surprisingly, it motivated me to continue with my own goals. I'm going to do her workouts with her and most likely follow the meal plan I'm making for her, in part. I've learned a lot about nutrition and exercise for muscle gain and fat loss, but implementing it yourself through depression and anxiety while taking care of an apartment and puppy is difficult. But I'm feeling motivated today! I'm going to write down some goals and baby steps and share them here either tomorrow or Saturday.

A New Start

I have been really lacking in my personal progression. Lately my mental health has really been suffering, I'm not sure why exactly, but this has caused me to fall into some bad habits. I am still figuring out what to start with and ironing out my goals, but this is the week that I make a new start. I am going to put some goals together tonight for the next few weeks.  Aimee  xoxo
