What a Disaster!

2/90

Wow! Yesterday was bad! I dealt with a fun round of mastitis this last weekend, so my life is getting back to normal. I feel like it takes a matter of hours for things to get out of hand like dishes, cooking, baby mess, and such. However it takes a matter of days to catch up with it all. Yesterday went almost as bad as it could have gone as far as not reaching goals. We did get outside as a family and I stayed away from processed sugar, but I didn't manage to really do anything else completely.
I think part of it was that Zach was home for the day, which means I get to sleep in usually and that we spend lots of time together as a family. Another thing that really did not help at all is the amount of time I spend on my phone. I want to add a phone usage goal to my list, but I haven't figured out what that will be exactly. I use it for everything and more. I am going to see what things I can do with paper and the computer, that way I can know what a reasonable amount of time would be.
On a better note...I feel like I am doing awesome with the no sugar thing. I am so addicted to sweet things and it makes me feel sick all the time. I have tried to set myself up well by making and buying things that are healthy to snack on. I have corn chips, pretzels, lots of fruits, cheese sticks, homemade yogurt, and homemade apple sauce. I do cheat a little I guess. I have made fruit jamish to go with the yogurt. Normally you would put the same amount of sugar(or more) as fruit to make jam, but I did half the sugar to cut it down. The cool thing is that I have done a week of no sugar and I have already lost 2lbs. I am not avoiding food if I feel hungry, I am just not eating candy and sugary things.

P.S. This morning I took these pictures just seconds apart. I had scared him with some noise I made and it took him a while to get over it. He never forgets that he was hurt somehow, even when he is laughing. lol
