Aimee- New Goals

 Hello Everyone!

I'm starting some new goals for this year. I have struggled a lot this year with my mental health, and I really want to be in a better place. I don't always know how to do that, but I am trying! Something I have been focusing on is losing weight and getting back into shape physically. My health has declined a lot as well as gaining a lot of weight since Steven and I got married. I have gained over 40 lbs in 2 1/2 years. I'd really like to see that go down. For every 5 lbs I lose, I am letting myself buy an article of clothing :) I don't fit in any clothes (I wear scrubs all day anyways) and I'd like to get some new stuff for summer/fall.

For my physical goals, I'm going to make my workout schedule from running and youtube videos from two girls I really like. I need to work on my flexibility and mobility. Everything hurts and once a get down on my knees at work, it takes a lot to get my knees working again. Which isn't great for restraining large dogs! I am also going to work on a more balanced meal plan, allowing some indulgence so that I don't over indulge. Making a menu and prep cooking before my work week starts helps a lot.

I am also working on my mental health through keeping a journal, doing things for myself, and getting into therapy. Everyone in the area has a wait list, so I have been waiting on some lists. We also have a lot of financial goals for debt and savings that will help me feel better.

  1. Go Aimee! Sounds like you've got some good goals going here. I especially like the reward system you are planning, I think that is a great idea.

    1. I know, I'm excited about that. I started at 190 and I'm at 186.6, so maybe next week I can pick something out for myself!

    1. I'll have to look into it! I've heard of it before. I use some blogilates videos, pilates DVD's, and some of Action Jacquelyn's Barre videos. I'm trying to find something that works well after work, I'll look into it!
