Aimee- Starting To Feel Better

Hello! So this week has been decent, considering I was on my period and had an ovarian cyst rupture last month (periods after cyst ruptures are always painful for me). I didn't bother weighing myself because periods always make me bloat and feel huge haha. So just ignoring that for now.

Health- I did 3 workouts that I created myself and I really enjoyed it. I've been reading a book called Eat. Lift. Thrive by Sohee Lee, she's a personal trainer that I admire. She struggled with similar eating disorders and I'm learning a lot. I'm learning that I have to find something sustainable for myself and take small steps to succeed. My eating was pretty consistent the first part of the week, but suffered a lot in the second part. I'm putting more focus on that this week and will continue to make some of my own workouts for this week. I filled my kickboxing stand up with water so I could finally use it! It felt nice to get back into kickboxing techniques and get some anger out haha. I have also been working on my mile time, its not impressive, but here are my times.

I told Steven if someone's chasing me, I want to know I can run a mile faster than they do, so here I am haha.

Work- I started applying for Medical Assisting jobs again. Veterinary Medicine has been interesting and fun, but not at all my passion. I have a second interview tomorrow with a GI/Colorectal surgery center in Fairfax. We'll see how it goes. When Steven's done, I'd like to go back for my RN.

Aspen- I've been working really hard with Aspen. She has been eating better and gaining weight better now. I'd like her to stop, but she's only 9 months and still has some growing to do. She's 85lbs and thinks she is a very small dog haha. I still have to lift her into the car because she's too scared to jump. Sometimes she'll jump and put her front pays on the side, but I have to lift her the rest of the way. I'm going to throw my back out haha. She LOVES kids and has always had a hard time sitting still for them. She scares them away with her puppiness. But this week, she has learned! I walk her every evening in downtown Manassas and people always want to see her. We had a very brave 5 year old girl ask to "hug" her. Aspen was so sweet and just gave her kisses while she hugged and pet her. We are taking her camping this weekend with some friends who are bringing their little 4 year old boy. We are excited for some fun.

This week- I'm going to work more on my food and getting my face washing routine. I have been wearing a toner with witch hazel in it nearly every day, and that has helped with the acne. Mask wearing is hard on my skin. I am also hoping to get my room clean this week!

Love you all!

  1. Camping sounds fun, especially in my camper! You sound like you're doing better. I'm sorry you had another cyst, I thought you were done with those. Keep trying! Love you and can't wait to see you next month!
