Hi guys so this week was a really fun.

So first amber asked how I make my tofu; its really simple and not anything special. I cut the tofu into very thin rectangle shapes. I cover them in cornstarch and cook them in a pan with oil or butter until they are crispy. Then I get rice and teriyaki sauce and mix it together. I usually eat it with avocado and seaweed.

Ok. Starting on monday, I had my first meeting with my therapist and it went great! I absolutely love her. We are meeting every monday now. We are trying to get me on meds, probably lithium as the last one I took did more harm than good, she said it was a newer less proven drug. But lithium has been used for a very long time and has a really good success rate so hopefully it works out.

Tuesday addy came up and said that she wanted to go to seattle as soon as she could to get a break and since work had given most of the week off we decided to make a impromptu trip. We left wednesday after addy got off of work.

Our hotel was very fun. It was very modern artsy and the gym was super nice so I worked out while I was there.

We went to Pikes market and got some things from the merchants. Thursday we went and got seafood and went to the space needle. We went to a few stores, one was a french grocery store. They had a ton of cheese and wine and candy from france. We didn't want to drive in seattle so we kept the car parked and walked everywhere which means we got to see a lot more, it was a very good trip.

This was the very from the space needle. Thats the Museum of Pop culture
This was a mirror they had in the hotel which was super fun it looked like you were walking into a tunnel

  1. That sounds like such a good week Alyse! I'm glad! I haven't ever been to Seattle, but I'm hoping Austin and I will have the opportunity. There are some really pretty places to hike around there :)

    1. It was thanks! The Seattle area does have some great places for hiking but I would really recommend the Portland area for sure, its one of the most beautiful places I've seen, its like Seattle but with waterfalls!

  2. Thanks for the tofu info, but one more question. When you say you cut them into rectangle shapes do you mean you cut the whole thing into thin rectangle slabs and then fry them or do you then cut those slabs into smaller rectangle shapes? I can't believe you guys went to Seattle, that looks like a lot of fun and that museum looks like some architect had a blast.

    1. Smaller rectangles like cubes but thinner. The architecture of the museum was very creative and really tall!
