Taylor - I'm Just Getting on When I Can

I've been kinda bad at getting on here and updating!

We got moved in! We are still in the process of unpacking (we arrived yesterday night), and will be for the next few days while we wait for furniture to arrive. Austin's employers had a company lined up to furnish everyone, but they backed out of the contract the day before we got here. We are on a nice air mattress though, so last night's sleep wasn't bad:)

School is starting back up on Monday and I'm not feeling ready yet. I've had to buy another $100 worth of art materials on top of my $100 marker set. I am also taking Personal Finance and Religion classes. I'm already ready for the semester to be over, haha.

My mom and possibly my sister and dad will be visiting sometime later this summer! I'm excited. The weather here is a little crazy, at least compared to Rexburg summers. It goes from sunny to pouring rain in such a short amount of time!

I am trying to get back on top of watching my portions, and eat better foods now that our long trip is over. We had lots of crackers and peanut brittle to keep us busy on the road. I also want to get better at working out again. I stopped doing actual workouts and went walking for an hour 3x a week for a couple of weeks, until finals and moving got in the way. With less workouts and worse eating, I've put on 5 pounds, which took me months to lose. So I'm hoping that doing more intentional exercising along with living on the 3rd floor will help me to tone back up. I've noticed my calves are abysmally weak.

I am excited to have more of a schedule this summer! I get to have my mornings with Austin, and my classes in the afternoon. I hope that we can go exercise together in the mornings, and have an early lunch together before he goes to work. In my spare time, I plan to make use of my time. I really want to start making butter and cheese! So I get to down two birds with one stone. I'm gonna shake lots of butter, lol, my arms are gonna look a lot better. Maybe I'll shake some weight off my sides too ;)

  1. Haha Taylor the butter plan made me laugh! Exercise with a double purpose that is the way to go. It is amazing how easy and quick it is to put on the weight. Good luck with the goals, the school, and the new living arraignments.
