¡Hace Mucho! (Aubrey)

It has been a while. We have had a lot going on between our little family and the rest of the family. I felt like I couldn't make myself keep up with this blog as well. I am feeling a little bit more in control and like I can do it today, so here I am .

Ben and Aaron have been pulling on my hair a lot and I really don't like being angry at my kids, so the hair had to go. It was really long and very damaged as well.

I will have to get a better picture when I wash it next, I had already had it pulled up because of our FHE activity, but here is the length. I am not so sure I like the layers. I just don't think she did enough, but it is cut.

Right now I am working on keeping this house together. We got a used fridge with a freezer to put outside, so that we can do better meal prepping (I am so excited!). That will make it easier to do what I am planning. I make a recipe, but I make 4 times what we need, divide it into 4 portions and freeze 3 of them. It makes my life so much easier. I am so much less stressed knowing I have meals ready in the freezer. I have been working up slowly trying to keep certain things under control with house keeping.

Goals:
           1. Kitchen clean by end of night, no matter what.
           2. Front room picked up and organized by end of night, no matter what.
           3. Work on chore box everyday in 15 min. increments

I am using just note paper and a clip board to help me make a list every night of the things I need and hope to get done. The list ends up being pretty long, but I try to make all the items be smaller things to finish the larger goal. This way I find it more motivating to finish something; I get to check something off every hour if not a lot more.

I hope you all are doing great I love I miss you all so much!

  1. This is so awesome! I'm wanting to get a deep freezer when we move back to Rexburg so that I can have more space for freezer meals and stuff. Freezer meals are just wonderful to have, for everyday life and not just post partum!

  2. Where is that second picture? I can't really tell with that picture but from what I see I would agree with you on the layers. They look too minimal, it looks a little to all one length, maybe too safe? But again I can't tell so more pictures please. Yay on the freezer meals, I might need to start doing that. Good job on making the goals, they seem doable. I am also organizing my housework. I've decided to use an app, input things as I add them to the list and then see my progress from there. It is a gamifying app, I am the hero and each task can be assigned skills. Doing a task will raise my xp and my skills which in turn will allow me to level to different ranks. I'm trying not to get too involved because I'm supposed to be working on other things but it is fun right now.
