Taylor - Just Chillin' I Guess

Okay, now that everyone knows, I can talk freely! I know some of ya'll might want more details and stuff, so here it is. I will be 9 weeks tomorrow, 5/20. Our due date is 12/23! Originally we were supposed to be due 12/16, but the ultrasound showed that the baby is measuring a full week behind, so they changed our due date. I haven't been sick at all! Sometimes I gag a bit, or my tummy gets upset when first eating for the day. Mostly, I'm just TIRED. It's getting a little better though.

I wish I had thought of this a few weeks ago so I could save me some misery and possibly $$. But BYU-I has changed aspects of my major since one of their faculty members left and wasn't replaced. I was mainly wanting this Home Design minor for interior design purposes. Now, the only classes I was interested in are no longer available, so I had pretty much just construction classes that were required. NOPE. Plus, all of those required classes aren't offered fall semester, so it would add two MORE semesters to my time. That wasn't gonna work, so I did some research. I found out that I could go back to purely business stuff, and graduate this fall, like I was supposed to! I was able to finagle it to where I only have one required Marketing class I have to take (3 credits, I have 12 left total), and have 9 credits to use however I want! So I will be taking a Yoga and Meditation class, which I am hoping will help me focus and do better with hypnobirthing, a religion class, a parenting class, and a "learn how to study" class to fill up my time. There aren't a lot of interesting classes available that I will be able to do (gardening, water aerobics). I'm just trying to make it as easy as possible my last semester because I may end up delivering while school is still going...like right before finals...lol. I'm kinda expecting it because of how early I went into labor with Ellie. The one thing I am bummed about is I will be 36 weeks on Thanksgiving, so there is no way I'll be leaving Rexburg :/

Anyways, I dropped my drawing class, because I hate it SO much I was willing to just let myself fail it. Instead, I'm taking a W on the transcript and adding a few easy second block classes so that I don't have to pay back my scholarship haha :)

  1. Yay Taylor that is so exciting! I'm happy for you guys. Good job on dropping the class. I loved my drawing class but I hated my jogging class and couldn't make myself do it. I should have dropped it but didn't and would have failed except my professor took pity on me and gave me a pass instead of letter grade. I just hate to run so much! That is also exciting that you are going to finish this fall, I didn't realize you were so close, that is great!

    1. I'm seriously so ready to graduate. I should have actually graduated early this past April if I had taken full classes instead of partial or none. But now I'm at least finishing on time! I've found that I used to push myself through doing everything and anything because "I HAD TO". But now I have given myself breaks, and since I know that I "don't have to" actually do something I don't want to, I can't get myself to do it. It's good and bad lol

  2. Good job Taylor! When you look back, you'll be so glad you finished! I look back and am sad that I didn't, although at that time they didn't have online school so it made it a lot harder.
