Taylor - Halfway!

Alrighty guys! It's been a little while, but I've actually got some things to talk about haha.

Last Sunday Austin and I went to the beach, which I honestly didn't enjoy much. I've determined I just don't like the beach, and am definitely more of a mountain scene girl. I'll get myself to go hiking and enjoy nature that way, but I super can't stand sand or the smell of the beach and ocean. We also had a fun little picnic and played some disc golf.

I've been getting over a persistent sickie, I've been stuffy and sniffling for probably two weeks now, but it's almost gone. We think Austin brought something home to me, and then he caught it from me later on. He is getting over it a lot quicker than me though. He took yesterday (monday) off work to recover and we had fun spending the day together. And on Sunday we took a drive and went to a really pretty park that had a great disc golf course, AND had blackberries! So I had the most fun I've ever had while going with Austin to play disc golf, cause I was able to spend my time picking blackberries :) AND I saw fireflies for the first time in real life! It was pretty cool.

We have hit our halfway mark for our time in Fayetteville, and I can't wait! I'm so excited to get back to Rexburg. Although, finding a decent apartment that I like there that is within our budget had been hard. Prices have jumped up while we have been away, so there's few choices.

I'm so pumped to get back to my midwife Marie! And modern technology in an OB office lol. The place I go to currently uses machinery that was probably used 15+ years ago. And they don't have a high risk Dr in the practice, so I'm being bounced around everywhere. I'm excited that we will be in a town that isn't overrun with drugs and crime, and a more close knit family environment and OB office.

As for school, I am in wk 10/14 for this semester, and then have a 7 week class during the summer term. Then we will be back in Rexburg! And I'll take 9 credits and graduate, probably within a week or two after delivery! Lol help, it'll be all finals and projects with a newborn heee X dead

We are hitting 14 weeks on Thursday, and I've been able to feel the baby move every now and again. Earlier today I definitely got a good little kick, at least for a baby this tiny :) ALSO, if you didn't know, we found out that baby is a BOY! We are pretty determined on the name Elijah Andrew. When we were in the hospital getting ready for Ellie's delivery, I had a distinct impression and thought come upon me. Just this: "There will be another. Eli." So I guess that I've kinda known that we would have a boy. And I find it so important that the prophet Elijah is known for bringing family together. I got a lot of comfort from those impressions that night in the hospital. I'm so excited to feel him grow, and have him with us.

  1. Nice of Austin to share with you. Everyone shares with me when they get sick. I love blackberries, they are the best tasting berry in my opinion! Unless it is a marrionberry it is a type of blackberry but tastes different enough that I can tell. Did you catch a firefly? They are pretty easy to catch, we used to put them in jars sometimes in Wisconsin. Also I can't believe it has been that long, I feel like you guys just got there! I like the baby name and I am excited for you.
