Aimee- Starting Insanity

So, just as the title says, I'm starting Insanity again this week. Insanity is a 60 day workout program from Beachbody with a little meal guide. I did it once in the past. I have been searching for something that will work for me. I've been praying and trying different things. I was at work, when Insanity popped into my head. I wouldn't have picked it for myself right now, but I felt inspired to do it again. I'm nervous because all of the workouts are cardio based and I know that I'm going to be exhausted. Last time, I made it a little over half way through the program and then physically couldn't keep going because I wasn't eating enough. I'm going to follow the meal plan and add some more calories in the second half and see if I can make it through this time. I'm excited and nervous. I stared with their fit test today to track progress and took measurements and pictures. I'll keep you all informed!

Amber - My name is right here

The title is me trying to type while Grandma stands over complaining about the ice cream spots on her shirt.  I am looking forward to the progress of this week.  I'm also super excited for general conference!  Also it is Easter which is fun.  I think I will dye some eggs with Grandma, we'll see how she does.  I might have to have her wear her painting clothes.  This weeks goals are pretty much the same.  Though to be honest I'm ignoring the last two one time things until I can get my sleep schedule to switch. One time things Make a plan of what extra things I'm going to study Make a plan of how I want to practice doing my daily goals Daily goals Get up 6-7.  I prefer 6 but having enough sleep is more important than more morning time. Keep my room electronic-free Do service when I'm lonely Memorize when I drift off into an imaginary world Call someone when I feel tempted Repent each night Go to bed 9-10.  I aim for 9 but not sure if I ca...

the last two weeks have been very emotionally draining, but im feeling much better now. my psychiatrist put me on new antidepressants which have been working great so far and diagnosed me with ADHD which I heavily suspected but im glad i know for sure now.

Taylor - So Close!

We move out two weeks from today! I feel so unprepared. There isn't actually a ton to do, but the thought of packing, finding a storage unit, renting a truck for moving our large items, working on final projects, and trying to meal plan the heck our of our remaining food supply is daunting. I'm feeling pretty lucky that I made some freezer meals a couple of months ago, because I've been able to plan those to feed us the last week before moving out. So all we have to do is thaw them (all soups), heat them up, and serve! I'm happy that it means I can pack our dishes and cooking supplies, and just use paper bowls and plastic spoons. I've already been able to meal plan most of this and next week's meals. Yay! This last week I didn't give my best effort. Frustration was my downfall - ants not going away, project aspects that team members don't do good work on ( so I will probably have to re-do their part), other projects not working out, not cleaning enough....

Aimee- Don't Get Discouraged

This week was really hard for me. Depression and anxiety hit hard and I just had to focus on getting to work. But I'm choosing not to get discouraged and just start again.  We went camping Saturday and came home Sunday. We went with our friends and their little boy Sam, and we brought Aspen. We went to Westmoreland State Park and looked for sharks teeth on fossil beach. Aspen had SO much fun digging in the sand. She even tried to run into the water after the driftwood. Sam loved Aspen and had a lot of fun running with her. She put her teeth up once at him because he wouldn't stop hugging her while she was sleeping haha. But she did really well with him and liked playing with him (maybe because he was always feeding her his snacks. She definitely ate a whole poptart). We got home Sunday afternoon and fell asleep. Now I'm trying to take the next two days to get things back together.

Amber - Doing it this week

I have been struggling to get anything more done all last week.  However, this week is going to be different.  I'm doing the stuff this week.  I'm putting down the same goals but I'm adding one or two things.  Part of my problem is staying up too late and this affects my whole day.  It's an ongoing issue for the last couple years but much worse now that I need to be up in order to get things done before I need to be helping Grandma.  As it is I spend the rest of the day trying to do both at the same time.  By evening I have a little bit of free time before my brain runs out of power and then I need some relaxing time.  Often there is a bit of depression involved and when that happens I'm not going to bed anytime soon.  It might help too if I have a rise time.  So here are the goals below. One time things. Put up all of my signs and affirmations (just have one to reprint and put up) Make a plan of what extra things I'm going to stud...

Addy - Weird Dreams

Spring is here! We've had some sunshine here in Walla Walla and I didn't realize how much I've missed it.  Spiritual - I've been working on making my prayers more meaningful this week and have found that whatever hard things I go through or goals I don't meet, I always end up feeling at peace with myself and somehow I have the energy to take the next step. I've been studying Enos, one of my favorite stories. In verse 2, Enos talks about the wrestle he had before God  before  he was forgiven. I was always a little confused as to what the word "wrestle" meant in a spiritual sense. And perhaps it can mean many things, but I read President Nelson's talk, "Let God Prevail" where he talks about deciding what is most important to us and wrestling with the natural man and ultimately letting God prevail in out lives. We have stop thinking we know better than God and be willing to let go of things we think we need for something better. Health - I...
